A Pennsylvania newspaper is dropping the popular comic strip Non Sequitur over a profane message about President Donald Trump drawn into one of its panels. Rod Vodenichar, the publisher and general manager of the Butler Eagle, said he made the decision after a reader complained that there was a vulgar message about the president in the comic strip by cartoonist Wiley Miller. The Sunday comic strip appeared in black and white, and encouraged readers to color in its panels.
The comic that ran on Feb. The president had said something that upset Miller, so he penciled the note. Miller first revisited his mistake and apologized.
David Wiley Miller born April 15,Burbank, California is an American cartoonist whose work is characterized by wry wit and trenchant social satire, is best known for his comic strip Non Sequiturwhich he signs Wiley. Non Sequitur is the only cartoon to win National Cartoonists Society Divisional Awards in both the comic strip and comic panel categories, and Miller is the only cartoonist to win an NCS Divisional Award in his first year of syndication. Fenton was his first syndicated strip.

It is also published on gocomics. Translated from Latin as "it does not follow", Non Sequitur is often political and satiricalthough other times, purely comedic. The strip has undergone many changes through its history.

Wiley is the recipient of the Rueben Award, naming him Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year by the National Cartoonists Society inthe most prestigious prize in cartooning.
